This policy explains what happens to information when you use capratecalculator.online and its blog at blog.capratecalculator.online.
Information we collect
You do not need an account to use the site, and we do not ask for your name or any other personal details. We only receive personal information if you choose to e-mail us (see below).
Your calculator inputs
Everything you type into the calculator is processed only in your browser. It is never sent to us or stored on a server. If you use “Copy link”, your numbers are placed in the link itself, and only the people you share the link with can see them.
Local storage
Your browser's local storage is used to remember two preferences: your chosen currency and whether you enter expenses monthly or yearly. You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP addresses and browser type to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
Cookies and advertising
The site does not set cookies and does not show advertising.
Request statistics
To see how visitors find the site, capratecalculator.online counts requests for its pages. For each request it records only the page address (without the part after “?”), where the visit came from (for example a search engine, a social network or another website's domain name, never the full address), the country derived from your IP address, the first language set in your browser, the device type (mobile or desktop) and, for search-engine crawlers, the crawler's name. IP addresses, the full browser identification and cookies are not stored, and we see these records only as aggregated counts. Every visitor receives the same pages. In addition, the type of network (internet provider or data centre) and whether your browser only loaded the page in advance (prefetch) are recorded. Without being stored, the IP address is also used to leave out the site owner's own visits and, for requests that claim to come from a search-engine crawler, to compare it with the addresses the search engine publishes and with its DNS name (looked up through Cloudflare's DNS service).
Visitor statistics
Apart from these request statistics, the site does not use any analytics or tracking tools.
If you e-mail us
If you contact us by e-mail, we use your address and your message only to read and answer it. We do not pass them on to others for their own purposes, and we delete them when they are no longer needed. Our e-mail service providers process messages only to deliver them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
